How to Make 300 Dollars a Month Online

by Mark E. Mason on May 15, 2010

One of the questions that I get most often on MasonWorld.com, through support tickets and blog comments ( and directly in email) is from people who are looking to just simply make a little extra money online. Usually they’re trying to cover a car payment or a shortage in their house payment and they want to know how they can make an extra 300 dollars online.

My answer is always the same. It’s very simple to understand how to make that amount of money online. I’ll admit to you that it’s not always simple to actually make the money, that usually takes work, persistence, and understanding of some internet marketing ideas. But, fundamentally it’s really easy to understand how to do it.

Now I actually wrote this post a long time ago -- it's been sitting in my draft posts.  Then I got a video from Andrew Hansen about Plug and Play Niche Cash, and I knew I needed to get this out there.

I was really pleased to see that Andrew Hansen teaches exactly the same thing (a fact I already knew).   Here is his take on this issue.  In his example, Andrew is talking about $1000/month, but the concepts are the same.  Andrew has given me a direct link to his video, and you can watch it here (highly recommended).

Transcription Crash Course Review

by Mark E. Mason on March 2, 2010

image One of the things that I hear all the time is “Mark, I want to start my online business, but I need to make money right away.”  Well, the answer I always give is that it can take some time to make money online as a marketer (weeks or months – sometimes years), but you can always make money online as a Virtual Assistant almost instantly.

Last week, I was really pleased to get a very exciting announcement from one of my favorite Virtual Assistants, Loretta.  Put simply, Loretta rocks.  She was contacting me to announce her new product about how to quickly start a transcription business.  The product is called Transcription Crash Course.

Obviously, I was excited for her because she is an excellent transcriptionist and I was glad to see her launch what I knew would be an excellent product.  But I was even more excited because I know that there are people that read my blog that meet the following critical criteria:

  • They have a computer and can type
  • They need to make money right now (today)

Internet Marketing Podcasts

by Mark E. Mason April 22, 2008

I spend a lot of time in my car, so one of the best ways for me to learn about things is through audio recordings. In the past, this has meant buying “books on tape” — more recently “books on CD.” The explosion in podcasting in the last five years has really changed everything. You [...]

Kidnapped Without Internet Access

by Mark E. Mason April 14, 2008

Last week was an exciting week. My neighborhood was hit by a tornado that knocked out power and satellite, I celebrated a birthday (I feel old) and I was kidnapped by my wife and taken to an exotic hotel location without my laptop. Working on Internet Marketing without electricity, an internet connection or a laptop [...]

Breaking Down the Magic of Social Media in a Web 2.0 World

by Mark E. Mason April 2, 2008

On April Fool’s Day, I was reminded about the power and magic of social networking. Of course, there has been a lot of discussion over the last few years about “Web 2.0.” Now a media buzzword, “Web 2.0″ is usually taken to mean anything that promotes social networking and collaboration. This can include social networking [...]
