WordPress: How To Change Home Page

Blogs are all the rage, and everybody loves WordPress.  I am no exception.  I use WordPress almost exclusively for my web content.

Many times when you are building an affiliate web site, you need to have a static "old school" home page that has sales copy on it.  You simply don't want your site to look like a blog, because that is not what the prospective buyer expects.  This leads to a question that I get all the time about WordPress - How To Change The Home Page.
