I wish I had seen this post earlier as picking a niche seems to be a hurdle I have a lot of trouble getting over. The bullet points in this post really cleared things up for me. I (of course) picked weight loss as my first site, worked hard on it, and have earned $0. Pretty discouraging. I'm through agonizing over it now, thanks for the advice.
