This is a true story about a musical friend, an internet marketing guru, me, a major holiday, a talking monkey named Charlie, a Christmas music CD, and some kids in Liberia, West Africa. OK -- I'll admit there is no talking monkey in the story, but it is still worth reading. It's a bit of a long post -- I hope you'll stick with me to the end.
Lions and Tigers And Scumbags, Oh My!
One of the things that really bugs me about the internet marketing industry (if you want to call it an industry) is the total sleaze factor that I see from so many internet marketers. There are so many people out there making unrealistic claims, trading on people’s fear and taking advantage of people’s hopes and dreams.
It just drives me absolutely crazy to see all the sleazebags that are promoting junk products in the internet marketing space.

I am planning to do a case study on JV Giveaways and report the results here. You can help my by following along with the study and (more importantly) signing up for to be a JV partner. This will give me the points I need to participate. This will also give you an opportunity to participate in the giveaway and build your list. If you have never done a JV list-building event before, now is the time (because we can do it together).
This JV Giveaway Is Different
I've got to tell you the truth. In the past, I have not been a big fan of JV giveaways. They have the reputation of generating tons of un-targeted, unresponsive leads. They also put you in a position of having to "give away" some of your list to participate. But recently, I learned about a JV giveaway that sounded like it might be different -- it is being run by someone that I trust, has several big name A-list marketers on board, has the potential to save kids lives.
