Lynn Terry Opens Her MacBook Pro (What Will Ed Dale Say?)

Last night at the Niche Affiliate Marketing System Seminar in Atlanta, GA, Lynn Terry finally opened that MacBook Pro that she ordered for video editing. She swears up and down that she is not switching to Mac, but we all know that "once you go mac, you never go back."

Great Internet Marketing Podcast – IMTW

Your Podcast Spoke to Me
If you want to be good at something in life you've got to work at.  There really just aren't many shortcuts that will allow you to completely avoid hard work if you want to be successful. When I talk to people who seem to be successful without working hard, I often find that they are actually working very hard at something they love. When you're working on something that you love, you can make hard work look effortless.

A big part of working hard is learning. My personal opinion is that you should never stop learning about things that you're trying to master. This is specially true in Internet marketing where the landscape is changing on an almost daily basis. Two of my mentors, Jay and Sterling from Internet Business Mastery talk about the need to be a lifelong learner. I am totally bought into this, but I have the same excuses as everyone else. As a part time Internet Marketing hobbyist, I just don't have a lot of extra time for learning.  Still, I think it's absolutely critical.  So, for my learning, I turn to podcasts.

The great thing about podcasts is that I can listen to them absolutely anywhere at any time.  For me, this means I can listen to podcasts in the car during my commute to my day job. This solves my time problem as it relates to continuous learning about Internet marketing.  It also means that I need a really big iPod.
